Job Descriptions
• Design Development:
- Create original patterns, prints, and textile graphics, incorporating current trends and brand guidelines.
- Adapt designs for different applications, including apparel, home furnishings, and accessories.
• Trend Research and Innovation:
- Stay updated on industry trends, color palettes, and market demands to inspire fresh, innovative designs.
- Analyze competitor products and market feedback to refine creative direction.
• Technical Execution:
- Prepare production-ready files, including color separations and repeat layouts, ensuring accuracy and quality for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with production teams to address technical challenges and ensure designs translate seamlessly to finished products.
• Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with product developers, merchandisers, and marketing teams to align designs with product strategies and customer preferences.
- Present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
• Quality Control:
- Oversee sampling and ensure the integrity of designs throughout the production process.
- Address and resolve any design-related issues during manufacturing.
• Project Management:
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Maintain an organized archive of designs, patterns, and resources for future reference.
Qualifications
• Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Art, Graphic Design, or a similar relevant field.
• Experience:
- At least 1 year of proven graphic design experience (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, image selection, and package design.
• Personal Attributes:
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or other visual design tools).
