Source and select appropriate materials for each design, considering factors such as durability, cost, and sustainability.
Work closely with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality materials for production, to shipping and delivery of goods from manufacturer to shop floors and website.
Control cost and set up a strategic and competitive pricing of products.
Oversee inventory management and ensure that products are stocked in appropriate quantities to meet customers' demand.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
Analyze past sales data in order to identify which products are selling well or poorly so that adjustments can be made in future offerings.
Stay updated on current fashion trends, materials, and technologies in the bag and accessories industry.
Conduct market research to identify consumer preferences and competitor offerings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Fashion, or a related field preferred.
A minimum of 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in the merchandising field or fashion business.
Interest in the Fashion and Creative industry.
Strong analytical skills and business minded.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Good communication, personality and interpersonal skill.
