Job Descriptions
• Merchandise Planning & Strategy:
- Analyze, plan, forecast, and evaluate key data to support and implement profitable merchandise strategies.
- Develop and execute seasonal and annual merchandise plans to maximize sales and minimize risk.
- Forecast and validate sales, gross margin, and inventory projections to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Partner with buyers and merchandisers to define assortment strategies aligned with market trends and brand positioning.
• Inventory & Resource Management:
- Manage the inventory flow to ensure product availability aligns with sales targets and turnover objectives.
- Monitor stock levels, sell-through rates, and replenishment to minimize overstock and markdown risk.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to align factory capacity, lead time, and inventory availability with merchandising plans.
- Plan and arrange production schedules in line with sales forecasts, delivery timelines, and promotional activities.
- Manage production and delivery timelines, ensuring that each stage — from sampling to shipment — follows the master merchandising calendar.
- Conduct capacity and resource analysis to ensure production and sourcing efficiency across categories.
- Optimize allocation, replenishment, and distribution strategies based on performance insights and store/channel needs.
• Collaboration & Supplier Coordination:
- Collaborate with management to develop yearly and seasonal sales, margin, and inventory turn plans.
- Recommend divisional and departmental sales growth strategies to drive business results.
- Work closely with designers, buyers, and production teams to ensure product development and production align with seasonal requirements.
- Research and identify new suppliers for specific product categories (e.g., apparel, footwear, accessories).
- Monitor supplier performance, production status, and lead times to ensure adherence to quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and review weekly and monthly reports on sales, stock, margin, and inventory performance.
- Analyze historical data, current trends, and market conditions to guide planning decisions.
- Identify business risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights for sales growth and inventory optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, Data Science or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in merchandise planning, production planning, or supply chain coordination (preferably in retail or fashion industry).
- Strong analytical and numerical ability with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Thai nationality preferred; must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in Thai.
